Somebody, somewhere said, "Don't apologize for falling behind on your blog posts." This person sounded smart and I like to follow the things that smart people say. So, I'm not going to apologize for falling behind on my blog posts this week. K. Glad we had that chat.

Now. Before I go to bed and lose an hour of sleep (thanks Spring DUMBward-you're just as dumb as.... what I just typed at the beginning of these parentheses.) I wanna deliver the goods this week.

First off---A brilliantly written piece by Jenni Chiu. I've only been a part of the blogging gang for a few months now, but the rewards have been great- utterly fulfilling. I think this post says why-- in the most eloquent of fashions. Bravo, Jenni! P.S. Jenni's entire blog rocks. Have a looksy.

This next homegirl almost isn't worth mentioning because, well everyone and their blogging mothers and sisters already know/follow the genius, I'm sure, but I refuse to discount how much amusement and pleasure I get out of reading her stuff. Alas, here's my favorite Dooce post this week. When else, I'd give two nickels about loose baby teeth, I don't know. This woman just knows how to tell a story. I love her so much for it, I think I'm starting to hate her.

Then there's this guy. Yeah. Guy. As in Dude. MALE BLOGGER. They do exist. With quite the advantage, I must say. Kinda like good looking straight dudes in a college drama department (don't get me started.) Anyway. This guy. I spotted him during Blog Brunch last weekend. Creeped onto his twitter, eventually onto his blog, then read his bio, and became an instaFAN. Then, I proceeded to check out some of his posts and said, wait, but no, I really am a fan of this guy----His blog is awesome. Seriously, check it out. He features some really eclectic works by a motley crew of artists (like this one, I heart) and his composition is impressive, even without the fact that English is his second language. Hats off to you, G. You're pretty, G.

Speaking of eclectic artists, The Jealous Curator featured this artist this week. Whoah. Je t'aime. To get a view of the full collection, I suggest clicking onto the artist's website (the collection is called Dare Alla Luce). My absolute favorite piece is this one. Brilliance.

Here's something delicious, I can only dream of attempting to make on my own. Dear bloggers/people in my life who bake, can you bake these for me and send them to me on my birthday? Or sometime this week? Gratzi.

Finally, these lollerskates here and here. (Via Noa. Thanks, girlfriend.)

There's more, so much more. I'm ripping you and my archives off. But I'm sleepy. And still not apologizing. (But kinda.)

I love you?

Happy Sunday.

( I'll be a posting monster this week, I swear. )

Zedis la pedis! What a week! I have to really say thank you to all the incredible feedback I have received via e-mail & Facebook. My family is still laughing at me, shouting "Blogger!" every time I enter the room, or am caught staring at my computer for more than five minutes (hours) at a time. But oh well! I am so grossly happy to wake up every morning and be greeted with new comments (however few!), followers, e-mails from close friends of mine who are feeling inspired to start up blogs of their own. Seriously, guys. Even if I don't make tons of money doing this eventually, it's such a joy to just get my feelings and thoughts out there, and in return, have it be appreciated and celebrated by others.

BUT,

I do still hope to make tons of money from doing this in the future. Ha! I just wanna be Dooce when I grow up! Type my mind in PJs everyday and roll in 40k a month? Uh, yes please.

With all that being said, tons of goodies this week.

Given the fact that I've purchased my ticket to Blogher this summer (first blogging conference ever, what what), the thought of making up some business cards of my very own has certainly crossed my mind. What better timing than for CUP OF JO to grace the cyberspace with this creative and very amusing collection of business card ideas. Aren't these all just super???! Can't say mine will be anywhere near as genius or inventive as any of these, but then again, maybe. I have a pretty fun idea in mind. Yup, I do.

Also this week, an incredible project I stumbled upon much thanks to my darling new bloggy friend, Lisa over at Joycreation. Being the sucker I am for all things romantic and sweet, I couldn't help but to be moved by Lauren Fleishman's work here in her project titled "Love Ever After", where she marks NYC couples who have been married for more than 50 years. I think the video at the top of her Kickstarter page explains it all, so beautifully. I am happy to be a small contributor to her project!

I think it's safe to say that Natalie Holbrook is my blogging hero. Not only does she take ridiculously adorable photos of her little Huck-babes (child-son), but she writes posts like these. Dear Natalie, I really like you. And your blog. A lot. (Who doesn't, I know.) But I'm just sayin'. For all my dear friends who are still trying to understand what a lifestyle blog is or why they are super cool, just visit Natalie's little space, and there's your answer.

Alsoooo on the blog feed this week. This lady. Postin' about her birthday travels thru New England. The past couple years, I've randomly developed a fascination with the New England states and have decided it is my calling in this lifetime to add a New England road trip to the list. Thanks for the stunning photos and the added inspiration, Chelsea. Happy Birthday and welcome to my blog roll :-)

Finally. This funny bitch. I think I spent a good two hours reading through her posts with a big bowl of popcorn and an airspace of crowded LOLs. Too good. Seriously, click here and here for some true amusement. You're totally welcome in advance. To Noa, I vote You. For president.

That's it! Until next time on Weekly Goods. Merry Day!

Coming up this week: On-going consumptions of jelly beans on my part, hopefully a part duex to this week's post defending my people in the service industry, and indubitably, a couple of Punky rambles that will most likely be more entertaining for me to produce, than for any of you to read.

Lovecats! Welcome to WEEKLY GOODS.

What is weekly goods? Well, I think it's pretty self-explanatory. But, just in case, it's my own weekly collection of favored findings via the CYBERSPACE.

Here's what I have bookmarked this past week....

A couple of really awesome inspiring vids. My friend Ryan sent these to me several weeks ago actually, and I have been obsessed with forcing every person in the same perimeter as me and a computer to watch them. More so the first one, than the second one. The first one, titled "Oh, the Places You'll Go" is incredible. One of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. See for yourself! I must have watched it more than a dozen times by now. Oddly enough, I know a handful of people in it as well...including one of the dudes that produced the whole thing. Small world. (Thanks Ryan, for sharing.)

Also this week, THIS POST. I connected with the author and her blog this week via the Facebook Blogstar Group. And wow, she has such a great voice. This post really touched me. Some words that especially stood out:

"We as adults don’t get to choose which impressions impact a child the most. If we did, they’d remember the blow-out trip to Disney more readily than they do being yelled at in the morning because they didn’t brush their teeth. I’m no psychologist, but I believe that it’s the ‘little’ things that create the soundtrack of a child’s life. How we interact with them in the everyday, rather than the special occasion, that shows how we love."

It reads better in context, but that specific collection of words really had me snapping my fingers when I came to it. However heartbreaking this post is, Miss Allen shares some very raw and vulnerable feelings about the importance of father-daughter relationships. And parenting in general. Strong stuff. Please do click onto the link and read the whole post! (Lisa, I'm so glad we exchanged comments today!)

Sister and I are about to turn on The Artist. Yeah, it's 1 a.m., I'm aware of it, but it's called CRAMMING for the Oscars last minute. With that being said, Bye. More Weekly Goods to come next week. ex oh!
